I have been working with ISM University of Management and Economics since 2009, providing English skill and level testing for applicants wishing to study on Bachelor and Master study programmes taught in English.
The test is designed to provide a realistic snapshot of a candidate’s ability to communicate and follow instructions in English in an academic and business context. It assesses practical language use rather than isolated grammar knowledge.
What will I need?
- a webcam
- a screen large enough to read texts
- a stable internet connection sufficient for a two-hour video call (on Zoom)
- a quiet room (no other people may be present during the test)
- headphones for the listening component (to ensure clarity and avoid echo)
- an official photo identification document
- paper and pens for note-taking
When will I get the results? You should allow at least one week for results to be processed.
How can I prepare? As the test is designed to assess overall communicative competence, there are no sample papers available. The task types are similar to IELTS/Cambridge First/Cambridge Advanced (matching paragraphs with statements, filling in the gaps, multiple-choice matching, and a short essay in a similar format to IELTS Writing Task 2).
How can I pay? Your registration is not completed until payment has been transferred in EUR (please note that all bank charges must be covered by the applicant, i.e. the sender).
